The Ravenswood Singers is a mixed voice adult choir based in Newcastle Upon Tyne and performing in professional theatres, churches and community centres across the region. We perform a variety of quality music, drawing from the best of Musicals, Choral and Opera repertoire. You can hear us perform around the region throughout the year.

A warm Welcome
The warmth and essence of the North-East is expressed in the generosity of this award winning choir’s performances; not only in castles, cathedrals, theatres, concert halls and country houses, but in little community halls and churches in town or countryside. The Ravenswood Singers are highly regarded ambassadors for the region.
Voice Types
We welcome new singers of all ages, voice types and abilities. New singers will benefit from learning in a lively and supportive environment, while more experienced singers will relish the challenge of new repertoire and of maintaining the choir’s reputation for quality performance..
Rehearsals
We rehearse on Monday and Friday evenings at 7:30pm (except over the summer school holidays).
Rehearsals involve a mixture of music work and some movement choreography for our semi-staged shows.
